The following are pictures that I took on a camping trip to Big Trees of Calaveras County Park in August 2011. This trip was a large part of my inspiration for Small Town Witch. If you want to see the type of giant redwood forest that Rosamunde lives in, these should help give you some idea of the scale and age of the trees.
