I loved this book so much that I read it in about two days and stayed up until 3 am finishing it! This book is amazing. Think “Heathers” or “Mean Girls” but with a supernatural twist! The best YA Thriller that I’ve read in a long time.

Some of my favorite parts of the book included how the author used common kids’ games and horror stories to create her own unique world. I was definitely one of those kids who played around with Ouija boards, Tarot cards, and silly games like “Light as a feather, stiff as a board”. I also knew all of the local places that were supposed to be haunted. I could definitely see myself hanging out with the characters in this book and probably getting into major trouble.

As an extra twist, you can find Violet Simmons on Twitter, and she’ll play the game with you! I got a spooky prediction of my own death, but I’m sure it won’t come true, because it’s just a game, right? 😉

The only part of this book that made me sad was how quickly it ended. I started to get nervous as I got close to the end and realized that everything would probably not be resolved. As soon I finished, I immediately looked for a sequel, but it’s not finished yet. 🙁 I will definitely be waiting to find out what happens next!
