Yesterday, I went up to Sausalito with my family as part of my stepdaughter’s birthday weekend. Sausalito is a little town on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge, and it has a beautiful view of San Francisco, both the city and the bay. We enjoy going there for the view, the food, and shopping in the cute little stores. It’s less busy than being in the city and it has its own little charm.

Naturally, this little seaside town needs a mascot, and they picked a mermaid. I snapped a few pictures at the gas station.
