YAB Bootcamp: New Week Goals

Monday means check-in time for my weekly goals! Gonna try to do this quickly so I can get back to work. đŸ˜‰

First of all, I have to finish my March goals, which boil down to this:

  • write the final chapter of Witch Gate (first draft)
  • revise the last 24 scenes of Witch Hunt (revised draft)
  • write two more flash fiction stories for Tales of Wyld Magic (then edit, format, finish cover, and publish)

After that, I get started on Camp NaNoWriMo! This April, I had no time to plan an entire novel, so I’m writing short stories instead. My plan is to keep it fun and light (while I’m also finishing up other things, like making corrections to all of my manuscripts based on my proofreader’s input, working with my cover artist, and learning how to format better, ugh). I just got my care package for camp, so I’m planning in a brand new notebook with a twig pen. đŸ˜‰ (So adorable!)

I currently have story ideas written for 6 shorts, but I hope more will come to me during the month. Right now, 3 are set in The Fae of Calaveras County and 3 are in Tales of Wyld Magic. (Easier to plan for worlds and characters I’ve already created.) But I do think I’ll branch out and do other things, as well. I’m excited and looking forward to it.

It would also be nice if I were online more to participate in word sprints and things like that with Team Denali, but I work in my writing time when I can, and checking social media often interrupts the work flow, so . . . :/ But I’m keeping up with my stickers and motivation on my own. Hope everyone else is having fun and working on their goals!
